A bassist and his basset hound

This basset hound loves belly rubs from his bassist friend.

Loves it.

Kinda loves gnomes, too.

Chicks. Dig it.

These birds are obviously no longer chicks, but when they were, they were shipped to this farm in a cardboard box by the United States Postal Service.

And, as of today, these chickens are no longer chickens: They were slaughtered. This post is in memoriam (cue "I Will Remember You," do bee da da da).

Coin-sized froggers

Out in the countryside, hundreds of these coin-sized frogs were simultaneously playing a real-life version of Frogger. They were mass migrating across a field of grass over this dirt path.

They were fantastically camouflaged,

and just kind of fantastic in general, too.

Hissing back

While this cat-treat-stealing stunt may seem kind of sweet, let there be no doubt:

This is a vicious animal.

He's a very giving fellow, as in giving me new scratches, deep bites and, ultimately, scars every opportunity he gets.

Go ahead and hiss, beast. But I'll hiss back.

Mollydog is hungry.

Really hungry.

Not fair

This is not fair. There's two of them, and they are in an embrace.

Thanks for letting me exploit you, little Animal.
